My passion is creating personalised & unique ceremonies for every life celebration.
I have been public speaking for many years and decided to combine that with the passion of bringing joy to others and creating my dream job.
I am honoured to create powerful moments for my community through personalised and bespoke life ceremonies. I am a Commonwealth-registered Marriage Celebrant and also offer naming, commitment ceremonies, Vow Renewals, Funerals, and any other special celebration you would like me to design for you.
Originally from South Africa, I immigrated to Australia in 2007. I have a strong background in beauty and make-up, owning an award-winning global salon in Brisbane for the past decade.
I have been public speaking for many years; therefore, very comfortable with a microphone. I have a flair for writing which led me to co-author an empowerment book.
Storytelling and connecting with people come naturally to me; I have a good imagination and pay attention to detail. I would describe my personality as bright, friendly, and calm, with a good sense of humour. I combined all my strengths with my love for bringing joy to others and created my dream job.
I have been married for 16yrs; I met my husband on valentines day while working on cruise ships. We have a beautiful daughter and two mischievous ginger cats.
I am honoured to be a life celebrant for all life’s celebrations and a Commonwealth-approved marriage celebrant. I create powerful moments for my community through personalised and bespoke ceremonies.
I love a great love story and cannot wait to hear yours. Let’s catch up for a coffee (or vino), discuss your vision and work together to create your dream ceremony.

The significance of the butterfly for me.
The morning of our wedding, I asked the universe for a sign that my dad was with me in spirit.
Suddenly the most enormous black butterfly floated past; now, when I see one, it comforts me.
We also had a butterfly release ritual on our big day; the black butterfly pictured above stuck around before floating away.
Here is the beautiful reading that accompanied the ritual.
According to an American Indian Legend anyone who desires a wish to come true must first capture a butterfly and whisper that wish to it. Since a butterfly can make no sound, the butterfly cannot reveal the wish to anyone but the Great Spirit, who hears and sees all. In gratitude for giving the beautiful butterfly its freedom, the Great Spirit always grants the wish.
According to legend, by making a wish and giving the butterfly its freedom, the wish is taken to the heavens and be granted.
I love a great love story and connot wait to hear yours.
